Each conversation has an initial duration of 6 minutes (360 seconds). When 30 seconds remain, you receive an extension prompt allowing you to continue if both partners agree.
You earn points through speaking practice (1 point per 30 seconds) and post-call star ratings (up to 20 points for a 5-star rating). Every 300 points increases your user level (e.g., Lvl-0, Lvl-1, Lvl-2), visible on your profile.
Yes. You can select from 6 built-in avatars anytime in Settings. To prevent impersonation and maintain trust, nicknames can be updated once every 3 days.
No. All voice calls run over encrypted peer-to-peer WebRTC connections. Real Speak does not record, archive, or listen to your voice conversations under any circumstance.
The Speak Log records your conversation history with timestamps, partner nicknames, and total practice duration. You can tap on previous partners to view their profile, or clear your history at any time.
If you encounter abusive behavior, end the call immediately and tap 'Report User' on the feedback screen. Our system captures in-call evidence for moderation review. Users who violate guidelines face permanent bans.
